Choose to make your decisions based on inspiration rather than desperation!
You can choose to be inspired and full of motivation all day, every day and it doesn’t cost anything! The internet, when used wisely, is a brilliant tool but if used incorrectly it can be devastating (both psychologically and physiologically).
I love the fact that I can have any of my mentors and role models in my head by just a simple click on my phone, it’s phenomenal and can be so powerful! I have made sure to choose the right people for me and my goals as my motivation. Depending on the situation I will “spend time with” different people and just knowing that they are always there for me is amazing!
It basically means that you don’t have to be the “average” of the five people you spend the most time with, at least not physically. Your average can come from the ones you constantly have in your head so make sure to choose wisely! This means that you truly are limitless as you can easily “hang out with” anyone you want at any time and just continuously learn from them and how they think and operate in order to become and stay successful!
By starting to use these motivational “tools” in a smart way, you can increase your mental strength, mood, mindset, willpower as well as physical and emotional state and knowledge. The choice is yours so make sure to make the most out of them and use them in your favor. Do it all the time and get ahead of the game!
This little tool called a cellphone, is your ticket to an endless world of progress and motivation. Make sure you use it as a ticket to your chosen destination and let’s go there with the speed of lightning!
Podcasts
The great thing about podcasts is that you can find your favorite shows and just download them to your phone and listen at any time even when you don’t have access to internet. Either you go by category and scroll through to find good ones or you just search for your role models and their podcast or episodes where they have been interviewed. Personally I love interviews with my role models as that gives me so much more information about them, their personalities and attributes compared to just listening to them when they have a “script”. Open question interviews are the best and most rewarding to me but you should go with what you find most rewarding to you.
YouTube
I would recommend using YouTube slightly different from podcast as with YouTube I prefer to actually watch instead of just listen and also take notes. This of course depends on whether there is something to watch or just audio. For topics I really want to learn about and pay special attention to, I make sure I can sit down and properly watch it. If it is just a static picture, then I might just listen to it as if it had been a podcast. Sometimes it feels like I can find more interesting interviews on YouTube than I can on podcasts. Regardless, if it is something good or even great, I am happy to listen to it again and again to really get it into my subconscious mind and allowing my Reticular Activating System to work for me!
Suggested channels to sign up to for constant motivation and education
These are some (most) of the channels I have subscribed for to make sure I always have something interesting to listen to that gives me motivation or education when I want it. I recommend you to find your own but the ones below will do a lot of the job for you. Some will of course be overlapping but to me that means it’s important content and I am happy to put that in my subconscious mind via autosuggestion.
Let these sources become at least a couple of your “five closest friends” and your “average” will skyrocket!

Music
There are many studies on the benefit of listening to music even if just having it in the background when studying (or writing this post). I prefer to listen to some classic music whilst I am working on the computer as it stimulates me to get into flow and that is what I am aiming for when producing something here for you. There are different kinds of music for different occasions as it clearly depends on what your intention with the music is. When you need to get into “exercise mode” before the gym or going for a run, that requires very different music compared to my “flow” music for creating content. Different kinds of motivation.
You should make sure you have your specific lists of music prepared for different times of the day. Most of the time you can just have it in the background so that it stimulates you even if just subliminally as it will still help your subconscious mind to get you into that state you want to be in. Personally I use Spotify but you can of course use whatever solution that works best for you but make sure you categorize it so that you have the right music for the right occasion.
A general comment is to also make sure you listen to things where you learn something every day. You will always have anything from 10 minutes to hours where you are doing something that doesn’t require any of your brainpower. Use your NET (No Extra Time) wisely to become wiser or just even more inspired by listening to other successful people and make sure you learn from them! Another brilliant point here is that even if you won’t remember everything, it will still stick in your subconscious mind and work for you, especially if you listen to it multiple times!
Actions to take:
- Create a strong mindset – read our post on how to “Brainwash” yourself to success!
- Modeling – Learn from the best!
- Autosuggestion works – we become what we think about! – start making things happen for you!
- Reticular Activating System – use this neural network to your advantage.
- The Subconscious Mind – make it stick deep!
